Timothy Loh, Senior Pastor
"Hi there! Thanks for visiting our website. This is the space where I tell you a bit more about myself, my family and about leading Eaglepoint. I graduated from Universiti Sains Malaysia in Computer Science in 1992 and then to further equip myself, I went on to study at Portland Bible Temple, USA. While in the US, God instilled a passion and love in me to build the House of God. It is not about building a personal ministry, but serving the Church.
When I returned, I began pastoring Eaglepoint and working in SSM as a Technical Engineer. I then moved on to Datacraft where I had the opportunity to lead a sales team. Those were very fruitful years where I learned about integrity in the workplace, choosing to honor God first in my business dealings and allowing God to supernaturally intervene in seemingly hopeless situations. I finally left the corporate world in 2004 to fully concentrate on building His house. In that time, I married Teresa and we started a family. My 3 boys, Joel, Joash, Jayden and our little girl, Joanna, are our constant joy.
Surprisingly, God also opened doors for me to venture into several food businesses, which paved the way for me to meet and influence business owners and entrepreneurs for God and community causes. My heart has always been to integrate both church and commercial resources to impact our community. Out of this, together with a few others, we founded Community@Heart, a non-profit organisation where we join hands to bring positive change to the community.
Through the years, my passion remains building His House and positively affecting the community."

Pastor Cathryn
|
"Hey you! I'm Pastor Cathryn, though most of the young people call me PC in short. They probably think PC is the right nickname as they see me as a multi-tasking maestro! But it's not that I want to do many things for the sake of being busy, the fact is that God has given me so much that I feel compelled to let it all out to impact lives and inspire people to live likewise. I really cannot stand seeing people's lives going to waste! I want to inspire young people to live loud and use their God-given resources to glorify Him.
Besides pastoring young people, I co-leading the worship and creative ministry called 1a.m. with my husband, Kelvin Lim, who is also the Worship Director of Eaglepoint. I love worshipping God and bringing people into His presence. I also believe that our creativity is a God-given instrument of righteousness to draw people to God and reflect His glory."

Pastor Steven
|
"Hi, so glad to see you here! I've been with Eaglepoint since graduating from the US in 1992. When I first joined Eaglepoint, I was just a regular church member like anyone else. But I allowed the pastors to speak into my life, shape and teach me. I also served faithfully where needed. Nothing was too big or too small, be it ushering to church maintenance to worship leading to campus ministry. Looking back, I can truly say that it has been a wonderful journey with God and this spiritual family. Personally, I am amazed at how far I've come. I am now the Executive Pastor and my lovely wife Bee Kim heads the KidZone. We have 2 beautiful daughters, Yu-En and Yu-Xuan and a handsome little boy, Yu-Han.
What keeps me fresh in my serving is seeing people change for the better when they encounter the reality of Jesus in their lives."

Pastor Shawn, Eaglepoint Damansara
|
"Hello, I'm Shawn and I pastor our church plant in Kota Damansara. With a team of 12, we started the church plant in 2006 and I can say that it's been a truly exciting journey so far. God is faithful in adding the numbers as we are faithful in sowing.
If you were to ask me back in 1998 when I first encountered Eaglepoint whether I could have imagined myself pastoring a church, I would answer with a loud resounding NO! It would be the furthest thing from my mind. In fact, I was a pretty "obnoxious" (others say, I didn't think so, obviously) student who had to be dragged to church. I fought God and the church for a while but He had a way of working in me. Soon I surrendered my struggle and decided to follow God with all my heart. In the following years, I grew to lead Life Groups and was involved in the worship ministry for about 6 years. The pivotal year was when I went for further equipping at the Every Nation Leadership Institute in Manila, the Philippines, where His call for church planting solidified in my heart.
So here I am today. Working as an Finance Analyst, pastoring a church, enjoying my marriage to Jill and learning to be a father to our baby girl, Kristen. Life with God is an adventure, for sure."

Mark Ng, Family Zone
|
"Welcome! Let me tell you a little about myself and how much this spiritual family means to me. Pastor Tim and I were friends, back in Universiti Sains Malaysia and we served together in Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship. When I graduated and joined Eaglepoint, our friendship continued and it grows stronger day by day. Not only between us and our spouses, but among our children and with others in the church. I can imagine growing old with this amazing company of friends, who have walked with me through thick and thin.
I say all this because "families" - be it natural or spiritual - are really dear to me. I lead the Family Zone and am passionate about seeing families living purposefully, serving God and the community. I value the love and joy of building strong families that can weather all kinds of adversities together.
My own family consists of my gorgeous wife, Carolyn and our 3 children, Joshua, Daniel and Ashley. Workwise, I am a Marketing Director overseeing Malaysia and Singapore with a multinational oil and gas company."

Joseph Gan, 更新教会 (Chinese Church)
|
"你好" (How are you?) I'm Joseph and it is wonderful to be able to cater to the needs of our Chinese-speaking community. When I first joined Eaglepoint there was no Chinese service. I increasingly felt the burden for the large segment of the community who are not proficient in the English language. Together with a team, we started a Chinese service, which grew to become a full-fledged Chinese Church.
On the personal front, I was a class "A" licensed contractor for the last 15 years before venturing into my own project & engineering management business in the construction industry. One of the reasons I started my own company is the flexible working hours that allows me to be more involved in church and community work, especially meeting the needs of those who are poor and needy.
My wife, Tracy, and I have 3 children. Andrew, Elise and the most recent addition, our little boy."
